On Palm Sunday, we had Trena baptized. Pastor Jack officiated, despite trying to get over a bout of pneumonia. Several people who were guests in our church came to witness our promise to God to bring up Trena in a way pleasing to Him, including Dr. Connie Hahn and her husband. We thank God for His goodness! The dress you see Trena wearing has a special meaning. Trena's Grandma VanDerLaan made it, using cloth she found in her mother's dresser when she (Trena Bos) passed away twenty years ago. Jon's Grandma Bos is the one Trena is named after. You can see the cloth on the bodice as well as the sleeves of Trena's dress. Grandma VanDerLaan did a great job! Thanks!
